Велосипедни помпи от COX Components – надеждни и ефективни решения за всеки колоездач

The bicycle pump is an important part of every cyclist's equipment. Whether you ride for pleasure, sport, or competition, it is important to have a reliable bike pump.

For your convenience, we present the four main types of bike pumps with specific examples from the COX Components product range, specially developed for racers of the leading bicycle brand – DRAG.

Floor Pump

The floor pump, also known as a track pump, is the most common and well-known pump. It consists of a long, flexible hose, a pressure gauge, and a large chamber for powerful airflow. The floor pump is a basic component of every cyclist's equipment. We offer you two high-quality and reliable solutions for this type of pump that you cannot go wrong with:

COX Ground STG – with ECV system (Clevervalve) with a nozzle compatible with all types of valves, high maximum pressure of 12.5 bar/180 psi (which is needed for road and track racing disciplines)

COX Daily STG – with a reversible head compatible with Presta and Schrader valves and a maximum pressure of 11 bar/160 psi.

Mini Pump

Mini pumps and telescopic pumps are a great solution for immediate response when you do not have access to a floor pump but urgently need one. Their small size and lightness make them easy to carry and convenient, and they can even fit in your pocket.

A drawback of this type of pump can be the pumping duration until the desired result is reached. Nevertheless, they can be your best friend in an emergency, which is why they are worth considering as an option. Some mini pumps come with an additional hose for easier and trouble-free attachment to the valve.

COX Component offers a variety of reliable solutions for when you are "on the go." Among them, we can recommend:

Telescopic pump Extract CNC – with a reversible nozzle for car and French valves and a maximum pressure of 7 bar/100 psi.
Mini pump Extract Eco Gauge – suitable for universal use; with a retractable hose and a maximum pressure of 5.5 bar/80 psi.
Mini pump Slick 2 Eco – a very compact pump measuring 18 cm, which you can easily fit in your pocket. It has a reversible nozzle for Presta and Schrader valves and a high maximum pressure of 8 bar/120 psi.

Shock Pump

Also known as shock pumps, pumps for shock absorbers are necessary if you have a mountain bike with an air suspension fork/shock. This type of pump is characterized by a small volume and high pressure.

If you are into mountain biking, pay attention to the shock pumps COX Light HP and COX X3M, suitable for suspension forks and rear shocks with air springs. Remarkable is the maximum pressure they reach; COX Light HP reaches 21 bar/300 psi, and COX X3M – 41 bar/600 psi! Pressure needed for some new models of rear shocks.

CO2 Pumps

For instant results in tire inflation, you can use a compressed carbon dioxide cartridge. The disadvantage is the single use of the cartridges, but COX Components also offers hybrid versions that function as 2 in 1: CO2 pump and hand pump.

The mini pump COX Dual Race is exactly such a hybrid component with an innovative design, combining tire pumping on one side and a CO2 cartridge on the other.

CO2 cartridge with adapter COX Fast Pump Head is a standard cartridge with a convenient and compact size and a nozzle compatible with 16g threaded cartridges. It also has a neoprene cover that protects your fingers from freezing when in contact with the cartridge.

With this information, you can now easily decide which type of pump to choose. A few things you should always watch for are: pressure, volume, the presence of an accurate pressure gauge, and nozzle compatibility with different types of valves.
