1.5 meters distance – for road safety
1 minute read
To be safe and confident on the road, both cyclists and drivers need to be careful and considerate of each other.
One of the best measures for a more peaceful coexistence on the road is maintaining distance. The recommended distance between a car and a bicycle to reduce the risk of serious incidents (at a speed of 60 km/h) is 1.5 meters.
The call for physical distancing, which we have become accustomed to in recent months, applies fully when we are on the move as well.
Many drivers and cyclists are not familiar with this simple rule. To raise awareness and consciousness on the road for the good of all, we are launching a campaign whose mission is to reach every road user.
The message is this clear and specific step: 1.5 meters distance on the road.
We ask you to remember, share, and spread the rule "1.5 meters distance on the road."
Soon you will also be able to get a campaign sticker at DragZone stores.
Let’s protect each other – both on and off the road!
