Our innovative Match system optimizes engagement for any mountain bike clipless pedal system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes with pre-installed Match Shim and Crankbrothers pedals in a neutral position, so they are ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals straight out of the box.

Match Box
The clip box with a lip allows easy pedal entry from the front and rear and eliminates mud buildup. The Race Zone area, located along the pedal path, allows the pedals to be positioned closer to the heel for extra control and stability when descending.

Match Compound
Our medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows easy entry and release from the pedal and is durable enough to resist wear. The radial tread pattern around the clip box is designed to provide smooth release from the pedal body.

Match Outsole
The outsole pattern is designed for grip off the bike. It features angled and positioned lugs to provide traction when walking uphill or downhill on steep terrain. The outsole edge is beveled to ensure comfort when walking on steep slopes.
