The SRAM XX1 Eagle rear derailleur is designed for 12-speed drivetrains, lightweight thanks to its external carbon cage, and shifts precisely on Eagle cassettes with up to 52 teeth. Direct, precise shifting was a feature of previous generations of the XX1 Eagle rear derailleur, but here the optimized cage shape ensures even more accurate chain guidance and even more precise shifting. The outer cage is made of carbon, saving weight. The rear derailleur is intended for use with Eagle cassettes ranging from 10-52 teeth, but also provides a flawless shifting experience when used with 10-50 teeth.
