The rear derailleur GX Eagle with a unique specific X-Horizon design adopts many technologies from the top group XX1 Eagle. The large offset of the upper pulley ensures a constant distance between the chain and guarantees precise shifting processes. The lower pulley of the derailleur with 14 teeth ensures that the chain moves smoothly and with less resistance. The smoother movement of the chain is supported by the optimized damping of the 3.0 type cage, which effectively prevents chain impacts on uneven terrain. The extremely high tension of the rear derailleur cage and the X-Sync pulleys, which are matched to the chain, prevent the chain from bouncing even on the roughest trails. Thanks to its new geometry, the rear derailleur GX Eagle is suitable for SRAM Eagle cassettes with a maximum tooth count of 52.
