In addition to the already proven Shimano Shadow RD Plus technology, the Saint RD-M820 derailleur includes a specific limiter (located between the derailleur and the hanger) that helps reduce noise during operation. It has a low-profile design that lowers the risk of damage from impacts during more aggressive riding. It also features a switch that allows for higher spring tension to reduce chain bounce. With the mode converter, you can set a "wide" mode with 11-36 teeth for freeride and a "close" mode with 11-28 teeth for downhill.
