Through axles guarantee stiffness and security, and Shimano's GRX gears are specially designed for gravel – with a very wide range and 10 speeds featuring Shadow+ technology, which prevents the chain from falling off. The model also includes GRX RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with more braking power and better control. The tires on the Sterrato 7.0 are WTB STp i23, tubeless ready, which means the bike can be ridden without inner tubes, as well as at lower pressure. This improves grip and increases riding comfort.
