DRAG Raijin is made from a new generation carbon material. It uses a combination of high-quality T800 carbon sheets. T700 and T800.
This makes the frame significantly stiffer and more durable compared to aluminum equivalents. Stiffness and strength are key qualities for control and safety on downhill racing tracks.
The frame offers 3 positions for the length of the chainstay. This allows for changing the wheelbase in 5 mm increments. Depending on the rider's personal preferences and the track conditions, chainstay it can be set to Short, Medium, or Long (440mm/445mm/450mm) length for both wheel sizes 29' and 27.5’’.
Raijin can be switched between 29/29 and mixed 29/27.5. The full 29-inch provides good grip and stability, which is especially suitable for fast tracks or overcoming large obstacles. The mixed configuration combines the stability and control of a 29'' wheel, with the playful and maneuverable behavior of a 27.5''. Especially suitable for bike parks, tracks with tighter turns, and anywhere more maneuverability is needed.
Another adjustment option is provided by the three possible positions of the central axle/main pivot, allowing for different suspension progression ranging between 20-28%
