The Range Extender SP1 is suitable for all electric bicycles equipped with the MAHLE X35 drive system. This additional battery increases the range by up to 70 percent. When the 248 Wh main battery is empty, the 208 Wh Range Extender kicks in and ensures reaching the destination. This way, a day trip can be extended a bit longer.
The additional Range Extender battery is mounted using a water bottle holder on the seat tube or down tube. The required bracket is included.

The Range Extender, like the MAHLE Smart battery, is charged via the X35 charger.
