When building the wheel, use spokes of the correct length according to the rim's ERD and hub parameters. For tubeless setups, use high-quality tubeless tape, a Presta valve, and sealant fluid. Regularly check the wheel truing and spoke tension, especially for electric bikes or intensive use on technical terrain. After riding in muddy conditions, clean the rim and inspect the tire bed for dirt or damage.
