When Josef Mesicek first discovered a dilapidated but original "high bicycle," he took the parts and restored it to its original condition for the young people who were members of the local cycling club. But one "high bicycle" was not enough for the 64 club members, so Josef decided to make another one. And another one... This quickly became a hobby, then a passion, and before long a business. Later, his son Zdenek also joined the venture. The handlebars, brakes, hubs, pedals, and crank are nickel-plated. The grips are made of cherry wood, and the saddle is made of ox leather. The front wheel is 58" in size, but it can also be ordered in a smaller size (down to 28"). The weight of the largest size retro bicycle does not exceed 13-14 kg. * The price DOES NOT include a saddlebag or a headlight located at the hub of the large wheel.
