Shimano SM‑LVOIL Low Viscosity Oil is a specially formulated low-viscosity mineral oil for the latest generation Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The formula provides stable and predictable brake system performance across a wide temperature range and ensures a consistent bite point and smooth modulation regardless of conditions.
This type of oil was introduced with the top-tier XTR M9200/M9220 and XT M8200/M8220 series and is optimized for high temperature, lower internal friction, and better lever response. It is not compatible with standard Shimano mineral oils and is intended only for compatible brake systems.
The 500 ml packaging makes it an ideal solution for workshops or regular maintenance of multiple bicycles.
