SRAM Eagle 90 T‑Type Groupset 165 mm represents the highest class mechanical drivetrain in the Eagle Transmission ecosystem. It is designed for cyclists who want maximum durability, precision, and control, but in a mechanical format — no electronics, no batteries, and no complications. Nevertheless, the groupset uses the same philosophy and architecture as the electronic AXS Transmission models, including the Full Mount derailleur attachment and T‑Type construction, providing exceptional stiffness, impact resistance, and precise shifting under load.
The groupset includes everything needed for a complete drivetrain upgrade: Eagle 90 T‑Type rear derailleur, Eagle 90 Trigger shifter, Eagle 90 DUB cranks 165 mm, T‑Type steel front chainring 32T with dual bashguard, XS‑1275 T‑Type cassette 10‑52T, and GX Eagle Transmission Flattop chain.
The groupset offers a uniquely simple setup — only four steps: Prepare. Hang. Tighten. Route.
No L/H limit screws. No B-tension adjustment. No derailleur hanger. Just direct Full Mount installation for maximum stability.

- Follow the 4-step setup: Prepare → Hang → Tighten → Route.
- Do not try to adjust L/H screws — there are none.
- Check the bashguard plates after impacts — they are replaceable.
- Use only the original T-Type chainring and Flattop chain.
- Tighten the cranks to the SRAM recommended 54 Nm.
- Is a special tool required for installation?
Standard tools are required: 8 mm and T25, a cassette wrench, and a flat tool for the Flattop chain. - Is it compatible with old Eagle cassettes?
No — it only works with T-Type cassettes. - Can it be used with electronic AXS derailleurs?
No — this is a mechanical groupset with a different T-Type ratio.
