- Installation:
Place the shifter on the handlebar using the clamp and align it with the opposite left shifter. Tighten the mounting bolt to the recommended torque (6–8 Nm). Make sure the cable is properly routed and free of kinks.
- Maintenance:
Periodically check the condition of the cables and rubber grips. Clean with a mild solution and replace the cables if there are signs of corrosion or difficulty shifting.
- Is a cable included in the set?
Yes, the shifter comes with a pre-installed OPTISLICK shift cable.
- Is it compatible with older Tiagra (4600) series?
No, the ST-4700 series uses a different pull ratio and is not compatible with the older 10-speed groups.
- Does it control the front chainring?
