- Installation:
Mount the shifter onto the handlebar using the clamp, positioning the lever so that it is symmetrical to the left shifter. Tighten the mounting bolt according to Shimano's recommendations (usually 6–8 Nm).
- Use and maintenance:
Monitor the condition of the inner cables and housings. If shifting becomes uneven, replace the cable or clean the mechanism. Periodically check the rubber hoods and clean them with a mild soapy solution.
