The BKD-1 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit will bleed most models of hydraulic disc brakes based on DOT fluid, including models made by SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes®, and Hope®. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the brake system for long-lasting components and peak performance.
The BKD-1 is designed for tough daily commercial use and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clamps, bleed blocks in multiple sizes, a unique syringe holder, and various hose fittings that meet the many standards used in hydraulic bicycle brake systems. Each part is replaceable and available from Park Tool. Packed in a durable storage case.

NOTE: The BKD-1 is for DOT fluid-based hydraulic bicycle brake systems only. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or related service tools.
