- Check the rim strip condition – ensure the rim strip is properly installed and does not contact the spoke holes.
- Mount carefully – TPU inner tubes are lighter than butyl ones and should be installed without using sharp tools.
- Slightly inflate before mounting – light pre-inflation helps position the tube correctly inside the outer tire.
- Check the tire beads – before fully inflating, make sure the inner tube is not pinched between the bead and the rim.
- Use the appropriate pump adapter – the Schwalbe Clik Valve is compatible with standard pumps, but using the original system accessories ensures the best performance.
What is the difference between Aerothan and a standard butyl inner tube?
