The helmet is equipped with MIPS to eliminate the rotational forces that act on the head in case of a fall. In the event of an impact at any angle, the MIPS system will allow the EPS helmet shell to rotate independently around the rider's head. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that could otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
Dimensions: S (51-55 cm), M (55-59 cm), L (59-63 cm)
Ventilation: 26 openings
* What is MIPS technology?
MIPS is a slippery pad between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner pads. In the event of a corner impact (for example, when you hold your head by a branch), the EPS helmet shell rotates a few millimeters along the MIPS layer, thus protecting the head and brain from a sharp rotating impact.
